The Swan One Design Worlds drew to a close yesterday in Valencia, with world champion titles assigned for Nautor's one design classes - the ClubSwan 36, ClubSwan 42 and the ClubSwan 50. The event was organised by the Real Club Nautico Valencia with ClubSwan. 

In the ClubSwan 50 fleet the crew of Cuordileone, helmed by the owner-driver and YCCS Member Leonardo Ferragamo, claimed the world champion crown. Also on board were YCCS Member Federico Michetti and Sporting Member, Federico Colaninno.

A visibly delighted Leonardo Ferragamo commented "Being world champion is very exciting. We fought hard right up to the final minute. That's why one-design regattas are so incredible, with the boats so close right to the finish. This is my first world title and I am very pleased."

Federico Michetti, ClubSwan Racing Head of Sport Activities, added: "It's a fantastic feeling to be a world champion.  It was an extraordinary week with amazing sailing conditions and to finish with the world title is something truly unique. I am very proud of the team and Cuordileone showed her strength. I am very tired but very happy.”
