Porto Cervo, 21 July 2019. In addition to the 12 Metre World Championship title recently claimed at the helm of Nyala (owned by Patrizio Bertelli), YCCS sporting member Mauro Pelaschier has also taken victory in the NYYC 175th Anniversary Regatta in Newport in the 12 Metre Vintage division, with an incredible run of nine wins out of nine races held.
In the same regatta YCCS member Tony Langley placed second in the IRC 1 class at the helm of his TP52 Gladiator, flying the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda colours. The YCCS is one of only four yacht clubs in the world whose members were invited to take part in the NYYC Anniversary Regatta.
