Porto Cervo, June 19th, 2019. It was perfect weather last weekend in Scarlino, and a fleet of twenty four Melges 20s made the best of it.
On Day 1 there were southerly breezes at 13 - 18 knots, but on the following days a fresh Mistral kicked in.
After six races, the team headed by the Russian Igor Rytov aboard Boagtyr won, continuing their winning streak in this circuit.
YCCS member Pietro Loro Piana also got excellent results aboard Gone Squatching with Matteo Ivaldi. They won the fifth race and ended the event in sixth place overall followed by Franco Loro Piana, Pietro's brother and also a YCCS member, aboard Sease.
Congratulations also to YCCS member Valentin Zavadnikov who helmed Synergy at this event.
The fourth event in this circuit will be in a little over a month on Lake Garda from July 12th to 14th.
