Porto Cervo, 27 May 2019. The Italian Minialtura Championship concluded yesterday in Naples with the victory of the J/70 Raffica owned by Pasquale Orofino and with club members Alberto Signorini at the helm and Filippo Maria Molinari as part of the crew.

The three days brought variable conditions, in which continuous wind shifts made interpreting the regatta course very difficult. On Friday a southerly breeze of 8-10 knots allowed three races to be held. On Saturday, the lack of wind forced the crews ashore, while on Sunday, after a long wait ashore and then at sea, the Committee was able to initiate the starting procedure as soon as the east wind began to blow at approximately 10 knots, and completed another two races.

With four first places and a second place, Raffica dominated the classification and her crew are the new Italian Minialtura Champions.
