Porto Cervo, 22 May 2019. Racing in the first leg of the GC32 Racing Tour is set to kick off tomorrow. The circuit dedicated to the ultra-fast foiling catamarans were designed by Martin Fischer, now coordinator of the Luna Rossa design team for the 36th America's Cup.

Among the 10 participating teams, which will include many America’s Cup sailors and Olympic Medallists, is Team Alinghi led by YCCS member Ernesto Bertarelli, who returns to the circuit after a fantastic experience in the Extreme Sailing Series, which he won for no less than four seasons.

Racing will conclude on Sunday 26 May with the next leg scheduled for 26 June in Lagos, Portugal, valid for the world title.
