Porto Cervo, 21 May 2019. The 52 Super Series gets underway today in Menorca and sees the world’s top sailors do battle aboard high-performance TP52 boats. This is the first of five legs that will be held in venues in Spain and Portugal, with the final event taking place in September in Porto Cervo.

Among the boats competing will be Azzurra, owned by YCCS members the Roemmers and flying the club’s colours, which has won the circuit no less than three times - in 2012, 2015 and 2017.

Participating YCCS members will also include Tony Langley at the helm of Gladiator, Vladimir Liubomirov helming Bronenosec and Doug DeVos, winner of the previous season, at the helm of Quantum Racing.
