Congratulations go to all of the Members who participated in the Rolex Giraglia 2018 flying the YCCS burgee and in particular to those who secured podium places in their respective classes.

In the IRC divisions YCCS Members took all three of the top spots with Dieter Schoen’s Momo claiming first place ahead of Dario Ferrari’s Cannonball in second and Alex Schaerer’s Caol Ila R in third place in the rankings for both divisions. Dieter Schon’s Momo was awarded the Rolex Challenge Trophy for overall victory in the race.

Sir Lindsay Owen Jones clinched victory in the IRC 0 Wally class with his Magic Carpet 3  and took third place in the IMOCA division.  In the Swan 50 class Leonardo Ferragamo’s Cuordileone was victorious, while in the Swan 45 class Luca Locatelli’s Thetis placed third.
