Stockholm, 29th May. The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda’s Racing Team, captained by Antonio Winspeare and Filippo Molinari and helmed by Antionio Sodo Migliori and Ettore Botticini, claimed victory today in the GSYS Team Race Cup hosted by Gamla Stans Yacht Club in Stockholm, Sweden from 26 to 29 May 2016.

The YCCS crews beat off competition from the Royal Swedish Yacht Club, the Royal Thames Yacht Club, Royal Yacht Squadron and hosts Gamla Stans to reach today’s final. In the head-to-head competition with the New York Yacht Club, the YCCS teams came out on top and were delighted to claim their prize in the presence of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
