Porto Cervo, Italy. 8th June 2015. Tony Langley’s Gladiator chose the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda as the location for the christening ceremony of the new TP52 prior to the beginning of the second leg of the 52 Super Series – Settimana delle Bocche in Porto Cervo.

Godmother for the occasion was Mrs Sciakè Bonadeo, wife of YCCS Commodore Riccardo Bonadeo, who broke the traditional bottle of champagne on the boat’s hull during the ceremony held yesterday evening in Porto Cervo Marina.

Racing for the TP52 fleet, which also includes the new Azzurra – flying the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda burgee , is scheduled to commence tomorrow, Tuesday 9th June at 12 midday. For full details visit the regatta page.
